You can also sign up with an agency that maintains private government grant opportunities. Although it costs money, it may be worth it for you to have all of the available government funded grants in one place, saving you a lot of time.
After you locate the grants that you want to apply for, it is recommended to contact the organization funding the grant and verify the specifics of the grant and their application process. You never want to apply for a grant based on out of date information.
