On the Charts - Billboards Country Singles and Albums

Top 10 Country Singles
Sara Evans' "A Real Fine Place To Start" celebrates being in the No. 1 spot this week and Montgomery Gentry moves up four spots to No. 2 with "Something To Be Proud Of." Toby Keith's "As Good As I Once Was" seems to be stuck at No. 3 (this is his fourth week in the same place). Brad Paisley remains in the No. 4 spot with "Alcohol," while Brooks & Dunn dropped four spots with their "Play Something Country" single landing at No.

5. Craig Morgan jumped four spots landing his song, "Redneck Yacht Club," in the No. 6 spot. Tim McGraw hit No. 7 with "Do You Want Fries With That," while Jamie O'Neal's No. 8 song, "Somebody's Hero," moves into the Top 10 for the first time. Gretchen Wilson also moves into the Top 10 with No. 9's "All Jacked Up." No doubt Keith Urban will have a "Better Life" because his latest single sits at No. 10. I'm pretty sure that Sara Evans will be No. 1 again next week, if she can hold off Montgomery Gentry.

Moving Up at the Speed of Light
George Strait is moving up the charts with No. 41's "She Let Herself Go" landing eight spots higher than last week. "Stand Back Up," by Sugarland, jumped nine spaces to No. 47 and Faith Hill's "Like We Never Loved At All" also jumped nine spaces hitting No. 32. Toby Keith has the biggest jump of the week with his song, "Big Blue Note," moving twenty-one spots to No. 36.

The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
There are three new songs hitting the charts this week: Steve Holy's "It's My Time (Waste It If I Want To)" at No.

60, Rascal Flatt's "Here's To You" at 59, and Sugarland's hot shot debut, "Just Might (Make Believe)," at No. 52.

Top 10 Country Album Charts
Brooks & Dunn's Hillbilly Deluxe remains in the No. 1 spot, while Rascal Flatts' Feels Like Today jumped two spots to No. 2. Brad Paisley's Time Well Wasted dropped to No. 3, Faith Hill's Fireflies also dropped a single spot landing on No. 4. Keith Urban jumps a spot to No. 5 with Be Here. No. 6 is Sugarland's Twice the Speed of Life album, while Toby Keith stays on No. 7 with his album, Honkytonk University. Jason Aldean's self-titled album jumped one spot to No. 8, while Gretchen Wilson's Here For The Party dropped a spot to No. 9. Rounding out the Top 10 is the Greatest Hits 2 album by Toby Keith.

New Album Releases
There were two new albums released this week: Childish Things by James McMurtry (No. 47) and Ryan Shupe & The RubberBand's album, Dream Big, debuting in the No. 13 spot.

NOTE: All chart rankings are based on the song or album's position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart or Billboard Country Albums Chart for September 24, 2005.
