History

This happened in the City of Atlanta in the state of Georgia. They took up Jennifer Nettles who was to become the lead singer of the group. Their first break came when they struck a deal with the Mercury Nashville Records, something that enabled them to release their first album in the year 2004 that was referred to as "Twice the speed of life." The team however suffered a major blow when one of the founders of the group, Kristen, decided that enough was enough and that she should be spending more time at her home and takes some time off to ensure that she concentrated on her writing.

Despite the fact that Kristen was a major pillar of the group, the team went and forged ahead to win a Grammy award for one of their songs. There was a problem later on when the team was sued by one of their former members, Kristen, who wanted a share of the profits that they had been earning.
