Genesis Pure is a network marketing company started by Lindsey Duncan in 2007, based on his research of good health in his home nutrition clinic in the mid 1980's. Genesis Pure markets a line of health products made out of superfruits, energy boosters, metabolizers, and cleansing ingredients to make it a "one stop" juice for those looking to boost their overall health and wellness.
Genesis Pure is like many other companies on the market at the moment, including Ximo, MonaVie, and Herbalife. But Genesis Pure's founder, Duncan, has been featured on several television shows over the past year, and the product was recently picked up by the the biggest box-store in the world, Wal Mart.
This is a review of the company, the products, and the "good, bad, and ugly" of the opportunity, for network marketers considering joining the company's compensation plan.
A Look at Founder Lindsey Duncan
Lindsey Duncan (often referred to as an MD doctor - in fact, he is a naturopathic doctor, or ND) began studying detoxification and alternative medicines in the early 1980's with renowned Dr. Bernard Jensen.
Duncan began formulating his own products, and before his creation of Genesis Pure, he ran another marketing company called 4Health. 4Health went public and at its height, was worth about $370 million.
Duncan has appeared on the Dr. Oz show, the View, and a number of other television shows spanning nearly all of the traditional networks: ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN.
The Products
Genesis Pure offers "Core" products for detoxification, superfruits juices, supplements, weight loss solutions, exercise supplements, energy drinks, and a few other "booster" products that are meant to help users naturally enhance bodily functions. As of yet, none of these products has been certified or proven to have specified results, but instead they are allowed on the market as healthy drinks, juices, and powders.
The Compensation Plan
Genesis Pure offers a 55% payout of commissionable volume, as well as a few different methods for earning, including retail sales by the rep, a first order bonus, a revenue sharing pool and team earnings, leadership pools, and a car bonus.
The Marketing Techniques Behind Genesis Pure
Genesis Pure promotes at-home parties to its independent representatives as a solution for financial independence. While they provide quality products that have been proven to sell, as shown by the recent inclusion of Genesis Today juice into Wal Mart stores.
Ultimately, though, the big sales and potential for financial success can only be found by generating thousands of warm leads, and building your downline into the hundreds, and even thousands. Tapping into family and friends is a tired technique that leads to frustration and abandonment for many new network marketers.
But, the skills necessary to build a successful business are available to reps, taught many times by those who have been in successful in the industry. These resources aren't tough to find, but they do require a bit of time and willpower to take the techniques, apply them, and create success with a company like Genesis Pure.
