Exposing The 7 Lies Of Network Marketing

I really enjoy opening people's eyes to things such as the 7 lies of network marketing.
It amazes me how these have almost become online "urban legends" one one level or another.
Funny thing is there is probably more than seven, but these are the main ones that everyone seems to talk about and most of them you hear from people that have been in network marketing since the stone ages.
Time to dust off the lies and come to grips with the truth of today's network marketing.
If anyone has ever told you that "people are numbers" you might as well get a new sponsor.
That is I'm sorry but what was told 10-20 years ago and if someone is still using that line it means they are making their major money from the people they got in their program fromthe 1990s until about 2005.
All I have to say to that is here's a number for you, Only around 7% of the people that join your downline actually continue to build their businesses as well.
Now you tell me how hard it is to keep a profitable downline with those numbers and the way the payment systems are now structured.
So I tell you no and after you leave you think, "well only 98 more no's and I'll get a yes".
I'd like to know who the philosopher was that invented the infamous "you have to hear 99 no's to get a yes".
You can't be serious.
If you here that many negative remarks it means your doing something wrong.
This statement coincides with the "people are numbers" theory and is why years ago they actually made sense.
One of the best sayings is "Rome wasn't built in a day"and my question is why would anyone think it was?It takes several people working together to build a masterpiece like the city of Rome.
So why would building a home based business be any different?Your sponsor may say its "up to you" and if they do its another one of those sirens going off telling you to get a new sponsor.
If they aren't willing to help you, and just hope you can figure it out on your own I'm not even sure you should be with that business let alone underneath that sponsor.
Then of course my favorite has to be make a "warm list" or tell everyone about it.
This is where I would make the large X sound you see on the Family Feud.
Again 10 years ago, sure.
Today, no way.
Your friends, relatives, acquaintances or whoever will definitely understand your excitement in the beginning and those persuasive skills you may quickly acquire trying to get your business off the ground, but in the present everyone wants to see results.
They want you to come up to them and show them you are making money.
Hey, if you are going to take anything away from this article just be careful when hearing these kind of remarks.
Because usually means old money is involved and the new is few and far between.
Become as knowledgeable as you can about the business "before" you decide to jump into it and think outside of the box.
Think to the future and what it will take to succeed, not what used to work back in the day.
