- 1). Lift the solution tank off the unit. Unscrew the black cap on the tank bottom.
- 2). Pour the cleaning solution into the tank up to the formula fill line. Pour hot water up to the tank's water fill line. Replace the cap and set the tank back onto the unit.
- 3). Twist the bracket latch, and unwrap the vacuum hose from the vacuum. Push the tough stain brush tool onto the hose head until the button lock snaps into place.
- 4). Turn the release on the cord wrap, and unwrap the power cord. Plug it into a 120-volt grounded outlet.
- 5). Turn on the power switch.
- 6). Press the trigger spray button to apply the solution to the dirty area. If pre-treating the area, spray it and wait 3 to 5 minutes before cleaning.
- 7). Scrub the area with the brush tool to soften and dissolve any dirt or debris. Push the tool down into the stain and, while applying pressure, pull it toward you to suction up the dirt and solution. Keep pulling the tool over the area until dirt and moisture are removed.
- 8). Unplug the vacuum's power cord. Empty the collection tank, and wash it out with warm water. Remove the cleaning tool from the hose, and rinse it under warm running water.
