How to Wire a Peavey Tri-Flex Crossover

    • 1). Plug one end of the XLR cable into the amplifier on the back of the subwoofer. It should be inserted into the jack labeled "Right Hi Pass Out."

    • 2). Plug the other end of the same XLR cable into the back of the right satellite speaker. Insert it into the jack labeled "Right Input" jack on the back of the amplifier if you plan to be using passive (non-powered) speakers instead.

    • 3). Repeat steps one and two for the other satellite speaker as well, using the "Left Hi Pass Out" instead. If you are hooking up passive speakers, continue onto the next step.

    • 4). Hook up another set of XLR cables to the "Left" and "Right" outputs on the amplifier, and then insert them into both of the passive amplifier inputs. Your satellite speakers will now be amplified through the crossover system.
