    • The largest city in the state and the fourth-largest in the United States, Houston, Texas has a variety of attractions for tourists. Among these are the Children's Museum of Houston, the American Cowboy Museum and games of the city's professional sports teams like Major League Baseball's Houston Astros and the National Football League's Houston Texans.     LakeView RV Resort

    • The LakeView RV Resort is located to the southwest of Houston in the Willowmeadows and Willowbend section of the city. The campground has 251 spaces for recreational vehicles, 60 of which are available for short-term, overnight stays by vacationers rather than for seasonal or long-term renters. All of the spaces feature full patios, and roughly half are pull-throughs measuring up to 24 feet by 75 feet in size. The remaining back-in spaces are up to 29 feet by 40 feet. Each space has full electric, water and sewage hookups as well as connections for telephones and cable television. Wireless Internet is available throughout the park. On-site amenities include restrooms, showers, ice machines, a waste dump, public telephones, a computer room and a laundry facility. The resort refills propane tanks for guests' convenience. Lakeview Lake is located on the property for fishing. The RV park also has a heated swimming pool, a spa, an enclosed gameroom and a playground.

    Advanced RV Resort

    • Advanced RV Resort is located in the Houston-Pearland section of Houston, approximately 12 miles from downtown. The campground offers 150 recreational vehicle campsites. Among the lots are 66 pull-through sites that measure 65 feet by 34 feet and 84 back-in sites that are 35 feet by 26 feet in size. Each space offers full electric, water and sewage hookups as well as cable television connections. Guests can access wireless Internet throughout the campground. For campers' convenience, the resort has restrooms, showers, public telephones and laundry facilities. The park sells propane and RV supplies. Recreational facilities include a swimming pool, a hot tub and an enclosed game room. Tom Bass Regional Park is adjacent to the campground and has a public golf course, fishing ponds and nature trails.

    Houston West RV Park

    • Located in Brookshire, Houston West RV Park is approximately 30 minutes to the west of the Houston city limits (around 26 miles). The campground consists of 107 recreational vehicle sites, 30 of which are for short-term stays. All of these available lots are pull-throughs and measure 30 feet by 70 feet in size. Electric, water and sewage connections are available at each campsite. Wireless Internet is offered throughout the park. Restrooms, showers, a waste dump and a laundry facility are found on the property. The park operates a store that sells groceries and snacks. Known for freshwater fishing, Lake Lauren is located at the RV park. Houston West RV Park also has a heated swimming pool, a hot tub, a playground and an enclosed game room and recreation center.
