- 1). Saturate a cotton ball with acetone-based nail polish remover. Rub gently at the heel mark until it is gone.
- 2). Make a medium-thick paste of baking soda and water. Spread the mixture over the heel marks and lightly scrub the marks. Gently wipe the mixture away with a clean cloth.
- 3). Lightly go over the marks with steel wool or an SOS pad (be particularly careful not to scratch the floor).
- 4). Spray WD-40 directly onto the heel marks and wipe it up with a clean cloth. Treat the spot with a de-greaser afterward if needed.
- 5). Lightly rub the mark with a regular pencil eraser. Use some elbow grease if at first you don't succeed.
- 6). Wet a scuffs or marks eraser and squeeze out the excess water. Rub the eraser over the heel mark until it is gone. Wipe up any water or residue with a clean, dry cloth.
