•'Georgia O’Keeffe and Southwestern Still Life'
Georgia O' Keefe was an artist who loved the southwest. She visited New Mexico in 1917 and was so inspired by the unique landscape that in 1949, she moved there permanently. She saw beauty in very simple things such as sun-bleached bones and cactus flowers. This collection, featured at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, features the work of Georgia O' Keefe and other artists who lived and were inspired by the beauty and nature of the Southwest.

•'Follow the North Star'
Conner Prairie's nationally-acclaimed, award-winning 'Follow the North Star' experience was developed from years of extensive research. Kurt Vonnegut is one of Indiana's most noted writers. His novels helped shape a generation and now, the city celebrates his life with a special festival. The second annual VonnegutFest will be a weekend full of celebrating all things Vonnegut. Celebrate Vonnegut’s works, the works of So It Goes (third edition) contributors, and the impact of the humanities on our veterans with Veterans Reclaim Armistice Day. Comedian Alec Baldwin will accept (remotely) the first-ever Kurt Vonnegut Humor Award at the Timequake Clambake. The event is free but space is limited, so tickets are required.
