- 1). Lay the thin sheet of plywood onto a flat surface, and set the tubing on top. Position the tubing at the desired location on the plywood. Mark the location, and remove the tubing from the surface of the plywood.
- 2). Slide tubing brackets onto the plywood, and press the flanges on the bottom of the bracket up firmly against the plywood surface. Mark the bracket location with a pencil. Mark the holes in each corner of the flange, and repeat the process for any other brackets on the plywood.
- 3). Attach a 1/4-inch drill bit to a power drill, and drill holes at the pencil mark locations. Connect a Phillips drill bit to the drill, and position the bracket back over the holes. Screw the bracket into place with drywall screws, through the pre-drilled holes. Attach any remaining brackets in the same manner at their desired locations.
- 4). Slide the tube into the hole in the top of the bracket, and tighten it into place with a Phillips screwdriver. Loosen the screws if necessary to fit the tube inside, and tighten down the screw on each end with the screwdriver. Repeat the process for all other pieces of tubing you need to attach to the plywood.
