- Fully insured and registered with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, A Zoo to You offers a wide range of petting zoo, pony ride and exotic species options. Parties can purchase large and small petting zoo options with or without pony rides or an exotics show featuring wallabies, Burmese pythons, coatimundi and other small exotic species. Prices range but expect to pay a minimum of $300 per event, with prices increasing based on number of animals and travel time to event. A Zoo to You provides staff to manage the animals and the children's interactions with the animals.
- Sarah's Pony Parties recommends 1 pony per 8 guests. With this recommendation comes a pony handler who guides the pony during the ride and assists children on and off of the animal. Ponies can be situated according to size and weight of the expected guests, and staff handles all cleanup. Sarah's Pony Parties is USDA-licensed and also offers a traveling petting zoo consisting of chickens, pygmy goats, baby doll sheep, a mini horse or mini donkey, and a llama or alpaca.
- Owned and operated by an exotics enthusiast and veterinary technician, Nature's Creatures Animal Show brings reptiles, such as alligators, amphibians, talking parrots and even a pony, "Pony O'Malley," to birthday parties. Prices start at $200 for 45-minute to one-hour shows, and include an exotic animal presentation and opportunities for children to touch and interact with the animals. Custom shows are available.
- Specializing in large exotics, Jo-Don Farms also provides exotics shows and petting zoo/pony ride options for birthday parties. Pony rides are accompanied by a staff attendant and can accommodate children up to 110 lbs. for up to two hours. Jo-Don Farms offers both gated and non-gated petting zoo options, giving party organizers the option of whether children will have to physically enter a gated area to interact with animals. Exotics presentations can include coatimundi, lemurs, macaws and other larger-than-life exotic species.
