I know this might sound a little intriguing, but one of my favorite Alliance gold farming methods is to get items that can be found only on Horde territories and sell them on the Alliance Auction House.
Because the items I'm going to speak about aren't that easy to obtain since they can be found only on enemy grounds, the prices on the Alliance side are much higher than on Horde.
So, what items am I talking about? Read on to find out.
1.
Deviate Fish.
These fish can be found only in the waters of the Barrens and inside Wailing Caverns, an instance found also in the Barrens.
Catching these fish can be quite tricky as an Alliance player because you can be attacked at any point by an enemy and the worst thing is you cannot attack first.
Also, having your fishing pole equipped, it might take one or two seconds until you equip your weapons, if attacked so, make an equip-weapon macro.
However, if you have a high level character, you can enter Wailing Caverns and fish for Deviates there.
Inside the instance you cannot get attacked by Horde players.
2.
Recipe: Savory Deviate Delight.
This is a cooking recipe that allows you to cook the Deviate Fish.
The crafted food is quite cool to use because it changes the appearance of your character, turning it into a ninja or pirate.
The price for this recipe is outrageously high, but the drop rate is quite low as well.
The best place to farm this recipe is the large harpy camp in the northwestern Barrens.
