How to Set Up a Nintendo 64 to a Sansui TV

    • 1). Connect the Nintendo 64's multi-out connector to its slot located on the back of the console.

    • 2). Plug the connector's yellow, red and white plugs into the colored "Audio/Video In" ports on the Sansui TV. These connections are located either on the back or side of the TV. Match the colors of the game console's plugs with the colors of the ports on the Sansui TV.

    • 3). Connect the power cord for the Nintendo 64 into the back of the device. Then plug the other end of the cord into an outlet.

    • 4). Turn the Sansui TV to the AV channel. (For example, turn to "AV 2" if you connect the Nintendo 64 to the Sansui TV's "AV 2" ports).

    • 5). Insert a cartridge into the game slot on the Nintendo 64 and turn the console on. The game screen will appear on the TV.

    • 6). Gamers using a widescreen Sansui TV should change the TV's picture format to a smaller ratio, such as 14:9, if the game's picture looks distorted.
