- 1). Load the program and start a new session.
- 2). Adjust your Synthesizer Sequence settings using the menu. "NOTE" changes shows 16 steps of the sequence at a time and allows you to add, change or remove notes. "GATE" allows you to adjust the Legato in 25-percent increments. Legato is a variation of monophonic operation where the note does not automatically replay from the previous string of notes. "VOLUME" adjusts the volume and "CLR" erases all settings on the current page.
- 3). Use the on-screen keyboard to input sound. "KORG DS-10" has two synthesizer emulators and one drum-track emulator. Touch the keys on the keyboard with your stylus. Your notes are displayed across the top screen.
- 4). Adjust the effects of your track. Add and adjust chorus, flange and delay to one part or all of the track. Use your stylus to adjust the length of the effect. Use the on-screen knobs to adjust the strength of the effect.
- 5). Adjust advance effects to customize your track. The VCO, or Voltage Control Oscillator, determines the pitch and tone color. Within the VCO are effects like "Triangle Wave," "Sawtooth" and "White Noise."
