- 1). Turn on the Windows-based computer. Go to "Start", "Run", "CMD", "ipconfig" and write down the IP address that is listed there.
Download and decompress the VLC media player program.
Download and install the TVU Player program
Download the pmp_vlc software and decompress it to a folder on the desktop (see link for this and VLC and TVU in Resources). - 2). Attach a PSP USB connector cable to the PSP. Attach the other end of the PSP USB connector cable to a USB port on the computer.
Turn on the PSP and navigate to the USB mode setting. Press "X" to activate the setting. - 3). Go to "Start", 'MyComputer", "Devices", and click on the icon of the PSP that is there to open the PSP memory stick pro folder.
Open the pmp_vlc folder and then the PMPVLC009 folder inside of it. Copy and paste the "PMPVLC009_JockyW" file and the "PMPVLC009_JockyW%" file into the "PSP/Game" folder inside of "Devices".
Open the "PMPVLC009_JockyW" folder and click on the "PMP.INI" text to open it up in the text reader program. Highlight all of the text and delete it. Replace the text with the following:

Substitute the IP address that was written down for wherever there are Xs. Save the file using the same name. - 4). Open the VLC folder and copy all of the ".NVO" files into both the "PMPVLC009_JockyW" and the "PMPVLC009_JockyW%" folders.
Copy the "VLC-ENABLE" file that is in the VLC folder to the PSP/Video folder inside of the memory stick pro folder that is in "Devices". - 5). Open the pmp_vlc folder and navigate to the inside of the "PMPVLC009" folder. Copy the pmp_server.py" file to the root folder of the memory stick pro inside of "Devices".
- 1). Run the VLC player.
Run the TVU Player and select a TV channel to watch from the main menu screen.
Click on the "File", "file-open network stream" menu on the VLC player. Check the circle named "HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS" when a window appears.
Put in the IP address that was written down in the URL column in the window. Add a colon to the end of the IP address followed by 8901. Press the "OK" button to close the window. - 2). Click the "Advanced Options" file menu on the VLC player. Check the "Stream/Save" box and then click on the "settings" button. Copy the following into the "Stream Output MRL" column that now appears in a new window:

Replace the Xs with the IP address you wrote down. Press the OK button to save the settings. Press the OK button that now appears to close the window. - 3). Turn on the PSP and make sure that the wireless switch on the side is in the on position. Navigate to the Game folder and highlight the "PMPVLC009" program. Press "X" to run the program. Press the "R" trigger once to connect the PSP to the wireless network.
- 4). Press the "Select" button and scroll down the screen to the "Live Stream" menu. Highlight the "Live Stream" menu and press the "Circle" button. Wait as the TV show begins to stream into the PSP.
- 5). Enjoy watching the TV show on your PSP.
