Vampire Weekend
Formed it 2006, New York based rock band Vampire Weekend were recipients of the 2014 Grammy award for Best Alternative Music Album (Modern Vampires of the City). Band members Ezra Koenig (lead vocals), Rostam Batmanglij (producer), Chris Tomson (percussion) and Chris Baio (bass guitar) first crossed paths as students at Columbia University and have since created three full studio albums.

Jack White
Listed as #17 on the Rolling Stones's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, Jack White is the former pianist, guitarist and vocalist of the multiple award-winning band, The White Stripes. Following the disbandment of The White Stripes in February 2011, Jack White wrote, produced and recorded his first solo album, Blunderbuss. The album received several 2013 Grammy nominations including Best Rock Album and Album of the Year.
Miss Lauryn Hill
Singer, rapper, producer, guitarist and actress Lauryn Hill wears many coats as an entertainer. After the wild success of her 1998 album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, the artist took a several-year-long hiatus from the industry. Hill has toured sporadically for the past decade.
Die Antwoord
This South African rap/dance duo crashed into the America music scene in 2011. Members Ninja, Yo-Landi and DJ Hi-Tek create a sound that embodies the Afrikaan term, Zef - a style of music, fashion and lifestyle that glamorizing the White, lower-middle-class culture. Die Antwoord are infamous for their colorful, no holds barred interviews with the media .

Wu-Tang Clan
A host of musical and cinematic careers were birthed from the unity of this legendary hip-hop group. Method Man, RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and Ol'Dirty Bastard (who has claimed several other aliases) all hail from Staten Island and Brooklyn, New York. About.com proclaims that Wu-Tang Clan are the greatest hip-hop group of all time. The nine artists have recorded three studio albums collectively as well as dozens of albums individually.
DMX
Rapper and dog enthusiast DMX began his career as a beatboxer. He has since gone on to produce seven studio albums and star in 10 full length feature films. His self-titled album earned him an American Music Award fro favorite Rap/Hip-hop artist. Last year, DMX announced to the public that he had began working on recording his eight studio album.
Most were first introduced to Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) as the lovable Troy Barnes on NBC's Community. An actor, rapper, stand-up comic and writer for NBC's 30Rock, Donald Glover/Childish Gambino is truly a Renaissance man. Glover will write, star and produce an FX TV show called Atlanta.
Platinum recording artists The Deftones were united in 1988 in Sacramento, California. They have recorded seven albums and are currently at work recording an eighth. In 2001, The Deftones won the Grammy award for Best metal Performance. In 2013, the band lost its original bass player to a tragic automobile accident.
