- 1). Place the paper onto your work desk, with one of the longest sides facing you. Fold it in half lengthwise, then unfold the paper.
- 2). Fold the top left corner over until it touches the crease made in step 1.
- 3). Bring the top right corner over until it touches the edge of the paper section that was folded in step 2. Tuck the small overhang that is at the bottom of the triangle up and underneath the two pieces of paper. You should now be left with an equilateral triangle.
- 4). Fold the top of the triangle in half, then unfold it. Repeat with the other two corners.
- 5). Fold the top of the triangle to touch the middle of the triangle. Repeat with the other two corners.
- 6). Fold one point of the triangle back to the middle crease you made in step 4. Fold the very tip of the triangle forward, on the crease you made in step 5 to form a pleat. Repeat with the other two sides.
