- Learn how Crayola markers and crayons are made at the interactive Crayola factory. This is a place for families to visit to explore their creative side while coloring, painting, and drawing to create interesting projects.
- The Blueberry Festival, held at Burnside Plantation, offers demonstrations, tasty baked goods, tours and history in July. Musikfest is held in downtown Bethlehem over 10 days each August, and Celtic Classic celebrates Irish culture in late September.
- Visit the Liberty Bell Museum to learn where the Liberty Bell was hidden during the Revolutionary War. The Whitefield House of the Moravian Historical Society hosts many events throughout the year, and the national Canal Museum at Two Rivers Landing illustrates life before the railroads.
- The Lehigh Valley Wine Trail is a non-profit organization composed of nine family-owned wineries; all have won numerous national and international awards. Their mission is to create a premiere wine destination in the Pennsylvania region.
- Outdoor activities such as skiing, snow tubing and snow boarding are offered in the winter, and hiking, biking and fishing are popular along the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers in the summer.
