- 1). Travel east from Twinleaf Town, your starting location, to Sandgem Town. Walk north from Sandgem Town to Jubilife City.
- 2). Enter the Trainer's School on the west side of town and speak to your friend from Twinleaf Town.
- 3). Exit the school and head north. A man walks up to you and offers you a Poketch if you can find three clowns in Jubilife City.
- 4). Speak to the clown standing between the Poke Mart and Pokemon Center, the one outside the Jubilife TV Station and the one in front of the Poketch Company headquarters. Answer "Yes" to each clown's question to receive a coupon.
- 5). Speak to the man once you have all three coupons. He takes the coupons and gives you the Poketch.
- 6). Tap the red button on the Poketch to switch to the calculator app. Tap the number and function buttons on the lower screen of the DS to use the calculator.
