  Mississippi offers close to 60 RV campgrounds scattered throughout various regions of the state, including the southern bayou-filled area and cities residing near the Mississippi River. Regardless of location, many of the RV parks come equipped with such modern amenities as cable hookups and Internet connections. Many of these campgrounds operate on a year-round basis as well.
  
  

Jellystone Park Camp Resort Pelahatchie, Mississippi

• The Jellystone Park Camp Resort in Pelahatchie, Miss., resides in the central region of the state, just outside Bienville National Forest. The resort features a host of outdoor activities, including a 95-acre lake used for fishing and swimming, a miniature golf course, tennis courts, basketball courts, a swimming pool and a water zone playground outfitted with slides and geysers. The campground also includes a video game room, an outdoor theater and Wi-Fi Internet access. Guests can choose from 150 fully-equipped campsites and 15 cabin rentals.

Indian Point R.V. Resort

• Spread across 180 acres of land, the Indian Point R.V. Resort sits upon the banks of the southern based Sioux Bayou. Guests can utilize the bayou via the on-site fishing pier, cleaning house, boat dock and boat launch. The surrounding region plays host to numerous golf courses, various museums and casinos. • Boasting 200 RV camp sites, the Mid-South RV Park resides near the grounds of Harrah's Tunica Hotel and Casino. Situated near the Arkansas border, the RV park sits within close proximity to the Mississippi River. All of the sites offer hookups for cable television, electricity, sewer and water. Recreational amenities include horseshoe pits, shuffleboard facilities, a swimming pool and volleyball and basketball courts.
