• Located just north of the Naval Complex in south Philadephia, the Wachovia Center is an indoor arena serving as home for the Philadelphia '76ers and Philadelphia Flyers sports teams. It also hosts hundreds of other major events per year. Although the Wachovia Center has several dining establishments on property, these are generally open a short time before and after events. • This local seafood and sports bar chain has a location just a few blocks north of Wachovia Center, featuring menu items that include salads, sandwiches, crab, shrimp, mussels and more. As an added feature, this location hosts the interactive "Play2" concept in which guests can reserve special entertainment cubicles to watch the game of their choice, or play games interactively. The restaurant and bar are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner; expect moderate prices. If you want to enjoy Chickie's and Pete's food on-site at the Wachovia Center, the restaurant has a location there, too, in the AT&T Pavilion.

• Located on 20th Street northwest of the Wachovia Center, Popi's is a family-owned restaurant serving fine Italian fare. Menu items include traditional pasta dishes such as penne marinara and cheese ravioli, specialty creations including Chicken Nicole and Veal di Mare, plus a variety of salads, appetizers and a full bar. Lunch sandwiches include meatball, Italian sausage and eggplant Parmesan. The restaurant is open six days a week for lunch and dinner, and dinner only on Sundays.
