Raising a toddler does not have to be all work.
We as parents should schedule in play time on a consistent basis.
I feel parents who play with there children consistently develop a deeper relationship with them.
I also think that play time should not be limited to just playing with toys.
There are so many things to explore in this great big world and a toddler's imagination is just right for it.
I have a three year old son at home.
And all parents of toddlers know that three year old children are very curious.
They are always asking "why" to everything.
Well I find that doing creative activities with him is a great resource for these little thinkers.
I think it's fun just to do some basic things like look at bugs with a magnifying glass.
What toddler boy doesn't like to look at bugs up close.
Also looking at various plants and flowers under a magnifying glass is good motivation for children minds.
I think another neat thing you can do as parents is take your child up to the thrift store and pick out something you can take apart, like an old clock.
Look inside the clock and let the child see all the internal components of it.
Sure the child probably won't understand the clocks internal functionality, but it will answer some questions for them and spark that creative thinking.
Also whenever you do a project around the house it is a good idea to involve your child.
Not only let him or her watch, but participate.
This is a great age for them to learn how to fix things and try to solve problems creatively.
