- 1). Fill the pot or kettle with 2 cups deionized water and bring to a boil.
- 2). Lightly crush the burdock seeds in the mortar and pestle. Alternately, you can lightly smash them with a back of a knife on a chopping board.
- 3). Place 2 tablespoons of the lightly crushed seeds in a teapot.
- 4). Pour the boiling water over the top of the seeds and let steep for three to five minutes.
- 5). Pour the steeped tea through a strainer into a cup or mug and drink.
