- 1). Open your business letter in your word processing software. Review the letter and move to the bottom of the document.
- 2). Locate the signature line. This may include just a signature or a signature, name and address. Press the "Enter" key twice after this information.
- 3). Type "Enclosure" at the bottom to indicate the attachments in the letter. If there is more than one attachment, type "Enclosures."
