If you like to talk and often find yourself giving friends or family members advice, then you need to consider being paid for what you have to say.
Also, maybe you already teach some skill or lesson on a regular basis, but not as a paid speaker.
You too should consider adding some profit to your efforts.
Or maybe you just want to make more money, face a new challenge and get out there speaking.
I remember when I first decided I wanted to speak.
I had a student that was the owner of a Management Consulting company and I told him I wanted to start speaking.
He invited me to attend a management training session in a few weeks and booked me to teach something.
I had to come up with what I was going to teach.
Now I didn't know it at the time, but I had already been a public speaker.
As a martial arts instructor, teaching classes almost every night to a group of 20-30 people meant that I had a lot more experience than I realized.
So I showed up to teach what I had prepared which was about two hours of material.
I only knew that I was to be paid $700 and so I assumed about 2 hours worth of material was required.
You can imagine how surprised I was when I found out that my time slot was actually only twenty minutes long.
My first speaking gig paid me more in that twenty minutes than I ever made teaching the martial arts - at least in comparison to minutes.
Speaking is the number one fear and if you can master it, you can tap into a market that will pay you large sums of money for your information.
Where do you get started? Start anywhere with a focus on the idea of FREE to shining FEE.
With a fast investment, you can make in your speaking, you can make money tomorrow speaking for clubs like rotary, Kiwanis and the chambers of commerce.
