How to Hide a Pipe

    • 1). Hide a pipe that extends from the floor or wall by concealing the area with the use of a folding room divider. These dividers or screens come in a range of sizes and styles. Measure the height that the pipe extends to and purchase a screen that goes beyond.

    • 2). Install a curtain wire or rod over an area of the wall that contains pipes. Place a decorative piece of fabric or curtain onto the wire or rod and hang it over the pipes. Pull the fabric away if someone needs to access the pipes.

    • 3). Camouflage small pipes in a kitchen or bathroom by wrapping them with a decorative fake vine or a thick ribbon. This disguises the pipe, taking away from its industrial appearance.

    • 4). Hide exposed sink pipes by installing a fabric sink skirt around its basin. These pre-made items come with adhesive that sticks around the sink. Remove the adhesive backing and press into place.

    • 5). Install a layer of fabric on a ceiling that contains pipes. Measure the area that you wish to cover and add several inches to accommodate the pipes. Purchase a piece of fabric in the appropriate size and use a staple gun to attach the fabric to the ceiling surrounding the pipes.
