  Located in northeastern Georgia, Brasstown Bald is a part of the large Chattahoochee National Forest. It is a summit that is the highest point in the state--in fact, the highest point in the Deep South--and it is situated on the Cherokee Mountain of Enotah. Brasstown Bald is along the village of Brasstown and the Brasstown Creek in the historical area named for the summit.
