- 1). Turn off the refrigerator breaker in your service panel to disconnect the appliance's power supply.
- 2). Open the freezer door, and then pull out the ice bucket. The ice bucket is located below the ice maker, and is not physically attached to the refrigerator.
- 3). Loosen the two mounting screws on which the ice maker hangs. The mounting screws are located above the ice maker, and secure it to the freezer wall.
- 4). Remove the screw below the ice maker, if one is installed on your model.
- 5). Lift the ice maker so that the mounting screws are in line with the eyelets, than pull it away from the wall.
- 6). Disconnect the wire connector from the refrigerator's wire harness and then remove the ice maker.
- 7). Plug the new ice maker's wire connector into the connector on the end of the refrigerator's wire harness.
- 8). Insert the two mounting screws into the eyelets on the mounting brackets on top of the new ice maker, and then lower the ice maker into place so that it hangs on the screws. Tighten the screws to secure the ice maker into position.
- 9). Replace the screw on the bottom of the ice maker, if applicable.

Replace the ice bucket, and then close the freezer door. - 11
Restore the refrigerator's power supply by plugging it back into the wall outlet, or turning on the breaker in your service panel.
