How to Get Out Powdered Laundry Detergent Stains

    • 1). Wash the stained clothing again in warm water with only liquid detergent added. Remove the clothing from the machine when the cycle has completed. Check the clothing for remaining residue.

    • 2). Place clothes back in the washing machine if residue stains remain. Allow the machine to fill with warm water until clothing is submerged.

    • 3). Add liquid detergent and one cup of white vinegar. Allow the clothing to soak in this solution for one hour.

    • 4). Run the articles of clothing through a regular wash cycle. Hang them up to dry or dry them in your clothes dryer.
