- 1). Sort out the details of the party. Make your guest list, stipulating whether or not the invitees can bring guests. Lay out all details, the theme of the party, the place, date, time and RSVP deadline on the invitation and send them out at least six weeks in advance.
- 2). Sort out the guest list so that the male to female ratio is close to even. For a racy singles' mixer, ask each guest to bring one available friend of the opposite sex whom they are not interested in romantically. Chances are, another party guest may be. This party will be a great way for the invitee and their guest to spark a new romance.

When the time comes, in numerical order, each guest can "shop" for a new gift to take home. This is a great way to clear out household clutter as well as make good use of an unwanted gift. - 4). Ask each guest to bring any gently used clothing they no longer care for or wear, all on hangers. Set up an area to hang all the clothing: the railing on a staircase is a great option. Record how many usable items a guest brings and write that number on a piece of paper. However many items the invitee donates is the number of items they will be allowed to take home. The hostess should gather numerous shopping bags to be used during the party. They can be obtained at a local department or discount store.
