The Lone Star state is home to many RV parks and campgrounds. From state parks to national parks and private campgrounds, the state of Texas offers RV and camping accommodations for the camper who want to sleep under the stars, to the camper who is hauling the 50 foot RV. And while your visiting Texas, be sure to check out some of the excellent outdoor recreation that accompanies many of these campgrounds. - Located in eastern Texas along the Mexican border, Big Bend national park gets it's name because it stretches along the "bend" of Texas. This park offers several different types of camping options from back-country camping, to tent campgrounds and even an RV park and cabin lodging. Once inside the large National Park, you can participate in such activities as hiking, taking scenic drives to Pummel Peak, bird watching, cycling and even floating in the Rio Grande River.
