While being on the road in your recreational vehicle (RV) is a lot of fun, there are headaches that come with trying to live your life out of such a small space.
It is difficult to squeeze all of the creature comforts of home into your RV, or into the camper you are towing.
There are a few things you can do to find the space: Mini-Size Me First, make sure you buy the 'travel' size of everything you need at the store.
Blow dryers, flashlights, toothpaste, Kleenexes...
all of your toiletries come in small sizes.
And when you're piling all of your bathroom supplies into a small storage bin, the space you save adds up quickly.
(For flashlights, the LED headlamps work great...
they are hands-free, and smaller than a normal flashlight.
) Storage Options Netting is great because it folds up small, but is easy to stretch across areas and make an impromptu storage area.
It can be used to hold items in place to keep them from shifting during travel.
Get a hanging shoe bag or two, since they make great portable, collapsible storage units.
They can hang in places where normal storage wouldn't go.
Double Your Pleasure Leave all 'single-use' items at home.
Only pack clothes (especially shoes) that can be worn in both casual and dressier places, or find a jacket with sleeves that zip off so that one piece of clothing is appropriate for a variety of occasions or temperatures.
Make sure that cooking utensils and cookware can be multi-use.
For example, find metal dishes that you can eat off of, or use to cook on.
