- 1). Remove the tent from its carrying case and unfold it on the location. Locate and unzip the front door of the tent and unfold the four leg poles from the center of the tent so they touch the four corners.
- 2). Stand inside the unzipped door of the tent and pull straight up on the center portion. As you pull the tent upward, the legs will begin to straighten and snap into place. Keep pulling until the tent is fully upright and all of the legs are locked firmly into place.
- 3). Grasp the two lower rods located at the bottom of the "hub" where the legs come together in the center of the tent. Pull down on these rods until you hear the safety lock click as it locks into place. This will prevent the tent from collapsing and keep the legs locked into place.
- 4). Slide the first rain-fly pole into the sleeve on the bottom side of the rain fly. Once this is in place, insert the second pole to form a cross pattern. Flip the rain fly over and place it over the tent with the poles lining up with the support poles of the tent. Connect the hooks on each corner of the fly to the loops at the bottom of each corner, then secure the poles in place using the hook-and-loop fasteners on the outside of the tent.
- 5). Push the stakes through the stake loops on each corner of the tent. Pull each of the guy lines on the outside of the tent tight and insert a stake into the loops on the end.
