Instructions
1Open the two photos you want to use in Photoshop -- the photo of the person you want to remove, and the photo you want to place them into.
2
Click on the photo of the person so that it is the active window.
3
Select the lasso tool from the tool menu. It looks like a rope.
4
Carefully trace the outline of the person. When you release the mouse, they will be selected.
5
Go to the "Select" menu and click on "Adjustments."
6
Click on "Modify" and "Contract." Contract the selection by 1 pixel.
7
Return to the "Modify" menu and click "Feather." Feather by at least 5 pixels to smooth the selection edge.
8
Press Ctrl+C on the keyboard to copy the selection.
9
Click on the photo you want to paste the person into so it becomes the active window.
10
Press Ctrl+V to paste the person in. Photoshop automatically places pasted objects in a new layer, so from there you can move the person's photo where you like.
