- 1). Look into the boots to see if there are insoles or heel attachment straps. Many of the shells requires a heel strap to keep the boot on the foot.
- 2). Push the insoles onto the bottom of the boot, keeping the toe of the insole forced against the toe end of the boot.
- 3). Thread the hell straps -- often included with the kits -- into the hell strap threading slit at the back of the inner boot. Push the opposite end of the strap through the other slit on the opposite side of the boot shell.
- 4). Place the foot inside the boot and wrap the straps around the upper part of the foot and attach the straps together, thus keeping the boot on the foot.
- 5). Go rock out.
