Rosen's Music Studio, located in Koreatown, offers karaoke in Chinese, Japanese or English, if you want to try something different. • Even Los Angeles has dive bars, those hideaway places where you can get a cheap beer and a friendly smile from your bartender. The Brass Monkey is a well-known dive bar, featuring karaoke and celebrity patrons (from time to time). Footsies and Coach and Horses cater to a regular crowd, but newcomers (and birthday patrons) are always welcome to check on the drinks on tap. • Take a tour of Los Angeles and learn about history and see your favorite star's homes. Starline Tours offers daily Movie Stars Homes tours, featuring more than 40 homes, including Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise and David Beckham. You will see the Sunset Strip (home of L.A.'s nightlife) and the famous Hollywood sign and Rodeo Drive.
  
  The Grand Tour of Los Angeles offers a peek at the Hard Rock Cafe, Olvera Street and Chinatown. You can even get free admission to Madame Tussaud's Hollywood wax museum to see some of your favorite stars immortalized in wax after the tour's completion.
