Your 21st birthday is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration to be remembered. Los Angeles is a city known for celebrations and celebrity. Combine the two for a birthday extravaganza that will not soon be forgotten. Have your first legal drink at one of the famous clubs or karaoke bars. Hit up an L.A. dive bar for a local, hipster vibe. Take the Hollywood tour to finish out your birthday celebration with some celebrity flair. - Los Angeles nightlife is infamous in America. Known for a diversity of clubs and celebrities, your 21st birthday celebration will be limitless in L.A. The city has a club to suit your style or changing taste for the night. Take in a live show at the House of Blues or grab a cocktail at Johnny Depp's famous Viper Room. The Roxy Theatre offers live music and a hip DJ spinning discs all night to make your 21st birthday memorable.
- Karaoke, drinks and 21st birthday celebrations fit together like puzzle pieces. Have dinner at Amagi's Japanese restaurant, and then stay for some sake and a birthday song. Rosen's Music Studio, located in Koreatown, offers karaoke in Chinese, Japanese or English, if you want to try something different. Both bars offer a wide selection of food, drinks and song titles to keep you and your crew entertained all night long.
- Even Los Angeles has dive bars, those hideaway places where you can get a cheap beer and a friendly smile from your bartender. The Brass Monkey is a well-known dive bar, featuring karaoke and celebrity patrons (from time to time). Footsies and Coach and Horses cater to a regular crowd, but newcomers (and birthday patrons) are always welcome to check on the drinks on tap. The Room is an out of the way hideout for local celebrities, but if you can find it, you will be more than welcome to blow out your birthday candles there.
- Take a tour of Los Angeles and learn about history and see your favorite star's homes. Starline Tours offers daily Movie Stars Homes tours, featuring more than 40 homes, including Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise and David Beckham. You will see the Sunset Strip (home of L.A.'s nightlife) and the famous Hollywood sign and Rodeo Drive.
The Grand Tour of Los Angeles offers a peek at the Hard Rock Cafe, Olvera Street and Chinatown. You can even get free admission to Madame Tussaud's Hollywood wax museum to see some of your favorite stars immortalized in wax after the tour's completion.
