Hi. My name is Alex, and I'm going to show you how to make breaking text in Photoshop. So here I've got my text and what I'm going to do, the first thing I want to do is, you cannot directly edit text in Photoshop so you're just going to right click on your text layer and you're going to select rasterize type. And that way I can now play around with some of the options that I have. So let's see. I'm going to select the lasso or the polygonal lasso tool. It's up to you, depending on how exact you want your breaks to be. So I'm just going to go ahead and make some angles here. And then I'm going to right click, free transform and kind of pull it apart here and then kind of tilt it a little bit like that. And then I'm going to basically just cut up all these pieces so I'm just going to move them like this with the lasso tool and this arrow tool right here. And I'm just going to play around with that. Then I'm going to move this with the marque tool, and free transform it and tilt it the other way. And then I'm going to go ahead back into that and just kind of play around with that. You can make it look breaking in any way you want. Just going to go ahead and have little pieces coming off of that. My name is Alex and this is breaking text in Photoshop. Thank you.
