9 tips for a successful Christmas Party: 1.
Ensure the organiserbooks early to ensure you find a suitable venue.
2.
Make it appear like mandatory attendance to ensure a good turn out.
If you're worried about people not attending, you could always book it to start during work hours.
3.
Improve the festive atmosphere by organising a Secret Santa so that everyone gets a present.
Presume that everyone wants to participate rather than asking them to opt in.
4.
Encourage dressing up.
When I say dressing up I'm talking about wearing your glittery party outfits...
not your Wonder Woman outfit.
5.
Rules about alcohol are divided into 2 parts.
The boss should ensure that at least a couple of drinks are provided on thecompanies bill to ensure a bit of good will amongst employees 6.
Employees take note.
Moderate your alcohol consumption.
Letting your hair down a little is fun.
Letting it down too far will invariably be a bit embarrassing tomorrow morning.
If you think you might have had one too many then consider moving away from the boss to ensure you don't put your foot in it too badly.
7.
Ensure everyone has organised themselves a safe ride home.
If someone seems to be heading off into the dark night alone, encourage them to call a taxi.
8.
A little flirting - that's fine but remember when to stop.
Being rude to the boss - that's quite a big mistake but excessive flirting is almost impossible to recover from the morning after and the embarrassment on Monday morning can be crippling and last for years! 9.
