Lakefront cabins provide ideal lodging for those looking to explore the woodlands of Arkansas, allowing greater privacy and freedom than traditional hotels. - Located two miles from downtown Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Historic Cottages at Lake Lucerne manages seven self-catering cabins situated on 6 acres of lakefront property. Built in the early 20th century, the historic lodgings were recently renovated to include climate control and modern plumbing. Cabins range in allowed occupancy, sleeping between two and six guests, all completely furnished and with amenities such as fireplaces, jacuzzis, fully equipped kitchens and television. Linens and a full bathroom with a shower are also standard in each rental. Pets are allowed at six of the cabins. Fishing is allowed on Lake Lucerne although swimming is prohibited.

Lying 10 miles south of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, the cabin is close to dining and shopping but is secluded and private. Although up to 6 people can sleep comfortably in the cabin, it best serves a couples or small families. Furnished and featuring a fully-equipped kitchen, the cabin has many amenities such as a wood-burning fireplace, laundry facilities, a television with DVD player and a sound system. Pets are welcome at Flagstone Cottage for a small fee and a boat landing allows access for fishing. A covered parking area is provided for those traveling with motorcycles, as well as a small mechanics shop.

Although camping is a key attraction, cabin rentals are another means of lodging available at the lake. Built in the 1930s, the park's 18 cabins are built of local timber and stone, providing rustic accommodations overlooking the lake. Sleeping up to 8 people, the cabins include double beds, cots and sofa-beds, as well as linens, fully-equipped kitchens, heating and air-conditioning and outdoor grills. One unit is wheelchair accessible. Telephone service is not available. Rates vary according to the season.

Now a state park, the lake offers a variety of lodging options including lakefront cabins. Each of the park's 14 cabins are self-catering and include complete furnishings, a fireplace, bathroom with shower, climate control, satellite television and a fully equipped kitchen. Linens, blankets and towels are included. Most cabins also feature a large deck or patio overlooking the lake and access to fishing piers.
