- 1). Turn off the power for the Bosch dishwasher by cutting the electricity at the main circuit breaker.
- 2). Open the dishwasher. Remove the lower dishwasher rack.
- 3). Pry the cap off the center of the agitator with a flat-blade screwdriver. Unscrew the agitator bolt with a socket wrench. Pull the agitator spinner off the hub.
- 4). Use a screwdriver to loosen the screws on the side of the lower kick panel at the bottom of the Bosch dishwasher. Depending on the model, you may also have to remove the toe panel located just beneath the kick panel as well. Pull the kick and toe panels out of the way and set aside.
- 5). Look for the pump on the underside of the Bosch dishwasher. The pump is usually in the center of the undercarriage. One side of the drain hose will connect to the outlet on the pump.
- 6). Disconnect the electrical wires to the pump by pulling on the plastic socket harness with a pair of needle-nose pliers.
- 7). Loosen the drain hose clamp with a screwdriver. Slide the clamp down the hose body. Pull the hose off of the drain pump.
- 8). Use a socket wrench to loosen the screws holding the pump to the underside of the cabinet. Gently lower the pump to the ground.
