- 1). Attach the curtain rings to the shower curtains so they're ready to hang.
- 2). Connect three sections of PVC pipe with the elbows to form a “U” shape. Slide the prepared shower curtains onto one arm and close the square with the remaining section of PVC pipe.
- 3). Work the shower curtain around your PVC square. Insert twist ties through the first ring of one shower curtain and last ring of the other curtain, then twist; repeat for the other side. This ensures your portable shower won’t be blown open by the wind.
- 4). Tie a 3-foot cord to every corner of your shower and join them in the middle by tying them to the metal ring. Ensure your knots are tight enough not to slip when your portable shower is hung. Attach one end of the 6-foot long cord to the metal ring and leave the other end free to toss over a tree limb. Slip the free end through the metal ring and tie a knot to secure your portable shower to the branch.
- 5). Use the 2-foot cord to hang the solar water bag by the handle and attach it to the metal ring with a carabiner. Attach the surgical tubing to the water bag with an alligator clip and attach the other end to the nozzle. Close the tubing just above the nozzle with another alligator clip to control the water flow.
