- 1). Make sure that your Internet connection is turned on and working properly. You will need to use the Internet in order to access the check-in page for your airline and print your e-tickets.
- 2). Make sure your printer is turned on, sufficient ink and plenty of paper. Many airlines only allow you to print your ticket once, so if your printer is out of ink, you may be forced to check in at the airport the old fashioned way.
- 3). Open your Web browser and go to your airline's website. Most sites have a button or heading to click on to check into your flight.
- 4). Find your reservation or confirmation number. When you purchased your flight reservation, the airline likely sent you a confirmation e-mail. You should find your confirmation or reservation number in that email.
- 5). Enter your confirmation or reservation number into the specified area of the Web page. The page may also ask you for your name or other personal information. If you have not yet reserved seats, you may be given the opportunity to choose seats or to upgrade to business or first class seats.
- 6). Print your boarding passes and receipt when the airline's website directs you to do so. Once you have printed your e-tickets, make sure to store them in a safe place. You will need them in order to board the airplane at the airport.
- 7). Go to the airport and bring your checked baggage to the specified area. You should now be able to proceed through security with your printed e-tickets and board your flight.
