Skinny guys have it tough when it comes to muscle building.
Extra-active metabolisms and naturally thin muscles and bones make it hard to create that super hero v-taper or big and muscular x-frame figure.
However I am here to tell you that it doesn't have to be that way-and you can quote me on this.

hard gainers CAN create a a muscular, model looking body that some thin guys can't even IMAGINE.
(Don't believe me? Google hard gainer Frank Zane) So how to gain muscle for skinny guys? Building muscle for skinny guys follows many of the same principles as other bodytypes (mesomorphs or endomorphs) however with some key differences.
To make it simple to take action now take a look at the list below.
How to Build Muscle for Skinny Guys (Use this article as the outline): 1.
Get enough calories.
Follow my article "How much calories a day" to find out exactly how much calories a day you need to build muscle.
2.
Do not workout like a professional bodybuilder! Those workouts shown in muscle magazines with all those advanced techniques like dropped and 10 sets would make you overtrain faster than you can say "should have listened".
All you need is a solid routine with basic, compound movements that people have been using for hundreds of years to build muscle.
(The plan in my article "How To Build Muscle If Your Skinny (Workout Plan Included)" will provide you with just that) 3.
Rest.
Be sure to sleep at least 7 hours a night.
Optimally sleep between 8-9.
NOTE: Rule number 1 is the MOST important one for thin guys to build muscle.
