• Even if you do not allow your pets on the furniture, chances are you are constantly trying to remove pet hair from your upholstered furniture. 3M Lint Roller

• The 3M Lint Roller is the brand name version of grabbing some masking tape and blotting your fabric with the sticky side. The hair sticks to the adhesive and is pulled off as you roll the lint roller along the fabric. As the tape on the roller becomes covered with lint, animal hair and dust, you peel away that layer and expose a fresh one. This is an effective solution when you need to touch up the fabric. This is not effective if there is a lot of hair on the furniture that needs to be pulled off.
  
  

Pledge Fabric Sweeper

• The Pledge Fabric Sweeper is a miniature hand sweeper that has two rollers with a dome to catch the pet hair in. As you roll the sweeper over the fabric, one roller will catch the pet hair. The other roller pushes the hair into the dome where it is trapped as you slide the sweeper in the opposite direction. Because this keeps the rollers cleaner, you will be able to pick up more pet hair than a sticky roller. Remove the dome to clean the pet hair out. Bissell Pet Hair Eraser

• The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser is a vacuum that has cyclonic action with a "lifter" to pull hair out from deep within the fabric. It is a standard floor vacuum that has an attachment to use on furniture. The attachment brushes the furniture to loosen the pet hair; the high-powered vacuum sucks it into the catch compartment. An indicator lets you know when you need to change the filter. If there is pet hair obstructing the filter, the suction will not be strong enough to pull it out. • The Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum removes pet hair with powerful suction through the use of a variety of attachments to use on furniture upholstery.
