- 1). Remove the shower curtain from the rod.
- 2). Place the shower curtain in the washing machine. Switch the setting to a gentle cycle and add a cap full of laundry detergent. If your shower curtain is white, you can also add 1 cup of bleach to the washing machine.
- 3). Remove the shower curtain from the washing machine after it has completed its cycle.
- 4). Place the shower curtain back on the shower rod to hang dry. Placing it in the dryer may damage the fabric or even shrink it. Allowing it to air dry will get rid of any wrinkles, and the curtain should dry within 6 to 8 hours.
