- 1). Sweep the Saltillo pavers with a broom. Remove all loose food crumbs, dirt, grime and miscellaneous debris from the floor.
- 2). Prepare a mild mopping solution of 1/4 cup neutral pH cleaner and 1 gallon of warm water. Thoroughly mix the cleaner and water in a bucket.
- 3). Dampen a mop in the neutral cleaning solution. Wring the mop to eliminate excess liquid. Glide the mop over a 3-by-3-foot section of the Saltillo pavers to dissolve oil and detach grime. Scrub the pavers' joints with a soft, stiff brush to dislodge hidden debris.
- 4). Prepare to rinse the Saltillo pavers by filling a second bucket with warm water. Mop the 3-by-3-foot section of freshly mopped pavers with the warm water. Rinse off all loosened gunk.
- 5). Proceed cleaning and rinsing the remaining dirty 3-by-3-foot sections of Saltillo pavers until the floor is thoroughly clean. Apply the same routine as previously. Refill both buckets as the cleaning solution and water become dirty.
- 6). Mop all of the Saltillo pavers with clean, warm water. Thoroughly rinse the pavers to ensure no film remains.
- 7). Dry the Saltillo pavers with clean towels.
