How to Clean a Gel Coated Tub

    • 1). Wet the gel coated tub with a sponge rinsed in warm water.

    • 2). Fill a bucket with hot water and 1 tsp. of mild dish soap.

    • 3). Dip the sponge into the soapy mixture and wipe it over the tub surface. Scrub soap buildup or hard water stains with the sponge and the cleaning liquid. Wipe around faucet handles and shower heads to remove hidden dirt.

    • 4). Empty the bucket of soapy water when finished cleaning the tub. Refill the bucket with hot water. Rinse the sponge free of the soapy water.

    • 5). Rinse the gel-coated tub with the sponge and hot water. Remove all traces of soap residue from the tub surface.

    • 6). Wipe the bathtub dry with a clean towel.
