- 1). Wipe the screen down using a clean rag or duster. Do not use any cleaner or water on the rag. Dusting the screen weekly should prevent the need for any additional cleaning of the screen. If your screen requires additional cleaning, proceed to Step 2.
- 2). Fill a spray bottle with warm water. Spray a thin layer of the warm water on the projection screen. Avoid saturating the screen.
- 3). Wipe the screen with a clean, soft cloth, using the same motion to avoid streaking or smears. Wipe side to side or top to bottom but use the same motion to wipe the entire projection screen. Wipe the entire screen before the water is allowed to dry.
- 4). Take a second clean, soft cloth and continue to wipe the screen until it is dry. Do not leave the projection screen damp.
- 5). Contact your screen manufacturer or guide book if your screen did not come clean. Some projection screens can be cleaned with a mixture of mild soapy water or by using alcohol but you must consult your specific manufacturer for the method recommended to avoid damage to your projection screen.
