- 1). Pour enough soda water onto the stained or spilled-on area to wet the area of the stain. Do not oversaturate the spot, as you don't want grime to wash down into the padding of the furniture or carpet.
- 2). Scrub the stain gently with a sponge dampened with club soda.
- 3). Wipe away the club soda and stain residue with a clean cloth. Reapply club soda, and scrub and wipe away again with a new clean cloth until no grime appears on the cloth.
- 1). Blot up any new spills on the clothing with a clean cloth. Do not rub it in.
- 2). Pour soda water into a spray bottle and spray the affected area of the clothing. Scrub the soda into the stain very gently.
- 3). Blot up the club soda and stain/spill material with a new clean cloth. Spray the clothing and blot again until the cloth no longer picks up any staining material.
